Scandalous. This is like Hugo Chavez denying the presence or contents of emails captured from the FARC terrorists in Colombia from his own accounts. This is like Bill Gates denying on the stand that he'd ever encouraged his company to crush the competitors like bugs and then reading into the record his own email with a monotone voice "we will crush our competitors like bugs." This is like Pontius Pilate asking, "Jesus, Jesus who?" Shameful.

Despite the hardcore evidence of zealots purging all dissent, asking peers to delete emails from their colleagues in order to isolate them, ridiculing their skeptics and urging peer reviewed scientific journals to deny their competitors a voice, the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Centre in the UK, is and ought to be severely embarrassed by the published emails.

Sure the emails were obtained through a hacker. Any attempt to dismiss the evidence of impropriety claiming the emails were illegally obtained misses the point. Climate science, by the actions of these so-called 'researchers' has lost its credibility with these nefarious actions and unwillingness to play fair by the rules of civilized debate and discussion and there is, Mr Vice President, no consensus at all. To claim otherwise is simply a bold-face lie.
